WHO WE ARE
Founded in 2023, FemSTEM, Inc. (“FemSTEM”) is a new non-profit organization dedicated to empowering underprivileged women and the LGBTQ community to learn and excel in the field of coding and technology, an industry soon to be the biggest in the world. We foster gender diversity and inclusivity in the male-dominated tech industry by providing our constituents the skills, knowledge, and support needed to thrive in coding and technology-related fields. At this time, women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less money than men. FemSTEM is working to improve those statistics.
The PATRIACHRY SYSTEM HAS BEEN IN FOCUS FAR TOO LONG DISTRACTING WOMEN TO GARNER their INTEREST IN THE STEM FIELD - AND THAT NEEDS TO CHANGE.
