OUR MISSION

Our mission is to empower underprivileged young adults and members of the LGBTQ+ community by providing them with the tools and opportunities to thrive in the world of software engineering and technology, enabling them to reach their full potential and contribute meaningfully to the tech industry.

This mission isn’t solitary; instead, it has been a collaborative endeavor that thrived on brainstorming with like-minded individuals, compassionate friends, and kindred spirits who shared this vision.

Our journey to form FemSTEM is a heartfelt commitment to the betterment of society as a whole. During this odyssey, we delved deep into brainstorming sessions, engaged in heartfelt conversations, and forged connections with those who believed in the power of collective transformative action. Together, we explored innovative avenues and contemplated various strategies to make a meaningful impact on their community and beyond.

This period of introspection and collaboration gave birth to FemSTEM. FemSTEM is the cultivation of a shared vision for a brighter, more equitable future.

She serves as a mentor to newly hired reps as part of the Advisory Team program.

Xena Ugrinsky is a 35-year Analytics and AI professional, the founder of DataCrunch LLC and Genre-X Inc., and the co-founder of Pilot Wave Holdings Management. She has also served for eight years on the board of directors of the Grahams Foundation, three of those as Chair.
